Get Togethers
Weekly opportunities
Ladies’ Bible Study. Meets Thursday mornings during the school year in the Fellowship Hall. The 2022-2023 topic is Spiritual Warfare. The first meeting for 2022 will be September 8.
Other opportunities
We occasionally have small groups that meet in homes. In the past we’ve studied how to live life with balance, how to pray, and how to help and encourage each other to be Christian women.
We occasionally host a women’s simulcast event at the church, gathering to participate in worship and to listening as Beth teaches us from God’s word. We’ll host a lunch and have snacks to provide fellowship opportunities among the women attending. This is open to women from other churches as well.
Social activities. We host a number of activities throughout the year for women to gather, invite friends, and enjoy spending time together. Every Christmas was have a Ladies’ Brunch and work on Christmas craft projects.
Ministry to other women. We try to minister to some of the women in one of the Bridgeport Rescue Mission’s Women’s and Families ministries at least once a year. We also participate in the Rescue Mission’s Great ThanksGiving Project.

Who we are
Helping women:
- to know God better,
- to learn how to serve Him,
- to discover His peace for our busy lives,
- to grow spiritually, and
- to grow in healthy relationships with others.
We are women of different ages and church backgrounds who share the desire to get to know God better, to learn how to serve Him, to discover His peace for their busy lives, to grow spiritually, and to build healthy relationships with others.
Our Bible study uses non-denominational materials and the Bible, not church literature. The Bible is our guide and final authority.
Feel free to bring a Bible of your own, or use one available in our group. Since our Bible studies are primarily group discussions, not lectures, you will enjoy learning from others and they will enjoy learning from you.
You’ll have the opportunity to work on each study during the week leading up to our group discussion. That way you will be able to participate in the discussion fully and will enjoy some Bible study time on your own.
Don’t worry. You don’t have to have any experience in Bible study to enjoy our group. No one is ever put on the spot to read or to answer a question. Come and participate as as much or as little as you’d like.
When We Meet
Every Thursday during the school year at 10:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. You can have easy access by parking at the rear of the building. We start with coffee, breakfast snacks, and fellowship. At 10:30 we begin our Bible study and conclude about 11:30 a.m. We then spend some time in prayer for our needs and for others, ending at 12:00 Noon.
