Welcome to North Park
North Park Baptist is a place where people from many backgrounds and cultures feel welcome and find help establishing and growing in a personal relationship with God.
When you visit, you’ll find Visitor spaces the front of the church. After exiting your car, walk up the sidewalk to the double entry doors where you’ll be greeted by one of our welcome team members. They will help you to find your way around and help you get your preschoolers and children checked in to their ministries. The auditorium is just to the left of the entryway and bathrooms are down the hall across from the entry doorways.
Our Worship
Our worship is not formal or ritualized. We sing a mix of hymns and newer worship songs. We project the words to the songs so you don’t have to search for them in a hymn book and can focus on worshipping God.
Our worship service usually ends by 11:45 a.m.
Part of our service is devoted to our Pastor’s message. His messages are always firmly rooted in the Bible yet with today’s people and needs in mind.
Every message ends with an opportunity to make a personal response. If you decide to step forward and speak to our pastor at this time, you can be sure of being treated with the utmost respect and courtesy. Our only aim is to help you.

Who We Are
North Park Baptist Church is people. We aren’t a building or an institution. We are people of all ages and backgrounds united by a common commitment to be devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
We are people who have found an exciting relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ. We are committed to making a difference in our marriages, families, schools, work places, neighborhoods, and communities through Him.
What To Expect
No matter when you attend North Park Church for the first time you’ll feel warmly welcomed. Dress however you are comfortable. We have men who wear coats and ties and women who wear dresses, but we also have people who like to wear jeans and tees. Most people come dressed casually.
ParkingThere are visitor parking spaces in front of the church. This will give you the closest access to the auditorium, Nursery, and Preschool areas. If you end up coming through the side or rear doors, just come up the stairs to the foyer.
Important LocationsOur Nursery and Preschool area is on the north end of the foyer. Restrooms will be found down the hallway directly across from the main doors. The Auditorium is on the west (street) side of the foyer. |
WorshipA description of our worship service is given above. Don’t feel you need any experience in church to be comfortable visiting one of our worship services. You will never be called on and can participate as you wish. There are no prayers, recitations, or other formal acts that you may not be familiar with. As a guest we never ask you to give to the church. Our members and regular attenders take care of supporting our work.
After WorshipYou’ll find people aren’t in a hurry to leave after worship. Feel free to stay after worship for awhile and meet others. Once a month during the school year we try to encourage meeting and greeting with refreshments in the Fellowship Hall on the ground floor. During the summer we have ice cream after church every Sunday out on the front lawn (if weather permits). |
